on the corner of 16th and East West Highway

really a black squirrel of Summit Hills.
he was not scared of the constant roar of the 16th street traffic, yet extremely annoyed by me. he was playing with another black squirrel friend -- maybe a special friend! -- before i got too close.

waiting for the peanut man to pay up. and occasionally confusing me with the peanut man, who may not do much else during the day.

on park road, mount pleasant

he toiled away in the rain. i annoyed him, leaving once in a while to drag my bike up the street after we got too far from it. he must have been young and inexperienced, because he tried over and over to bury the acorn in the asphalt driveway, bypassing soft, diggable garden along the way.

but so cool. i think it's a juvenile... lafayette park.

he lives at the white house.
weeell, he lives in lafayette park, in front of the white house, where homeless guys, plain-dress secret service guys, lifetime protesters, segway dorks, and high school tour groups mingle daily. after 15 minutes of trying, he still couldn't settle on a burial site, so he carried the nut away.
